Just not going to put myself through it.

Why?

Answer: why would I? I know what it looks like to have Brady and the Pats kick the snot out of the Steelers so why would I?

We don't have half our team, our defense is built to lose to the Pats, and honestly don't feel like having a smudge on what looks to be a nice fall Sunday by watching the Steelers inevitably lose.

Here's to a fresh restart to the season after the bye with a team that has a passing resemblance to what this team is supposed to look like.

Flame all you want, but we all know how this ends.

Good or bad, I hope you miss the game of the season.

Salute the nation

Maybe.

Just don't care to waste 3+ hrs watching a game the Steelers are guaranteed to lose.

I would say that if you do you're probably either a patriots fan or just a glutton for punishment.

Neither of which describes me.

So have fun watching a loss......I'm gonna go bass fishing and actually enjoy the day. Anyone else who feels like joining me come up to North Park and we'll catch some fish.

Thems that do that are called "bandwagoners" Imagine that kind of attitude back when this team couldn't beat a bad college team. They were still fun to watch though. My dad and uncles used to like to count the opposing players that were carried off the field. They couldn't beat anybody but they could sure beat them up...LOL

No..I'm a fan. Win or lose, I support the team, I'll wear my colors when they lose, I'll take criticism from opposing fans and I'll come back next week and do it all again. But then again I would never run away from schoolyard bullys either, so maybe there is a little masochist in me.

I'll watch.. but let's just say I'll be fairly quick w/teh trigger finger. When they don't have "it", it doesn't take long to figure it out. This year we have Philly and Miami. Last year the team played tight in every game or veery well, but '14 there was the Cleveland disaster, Ravens blowout (2x). I don't expect much this weekend, which is why they'll hang around and it'll end up tearing the *** outta me. Ha!

Ill watch until its all I can stands and I cant stands no more.

I love the steelers, but it's amazing what you can accomplish at the stores, etc, while all the people are home watching the game. It's like a ghost town.

Not bandwagon, just don't care to watch a guaranteed loss.

I've seen this matchup so many times in the last 10+ yrs.....

Why watch your team get it's teeth kicked in?

No Ben, no Hayward, no one that can cover or rush, multiple injuries throughout the roster..,............ would love to hear anyone's reasoning behind us having even a snowball's chance in hell.

Nah, got some fish calling my name.

I'm a fan, win or lose. Plus, this Sunday I will be hoping Big Dan falls *** first on Brady's face. Worth the price of admission.

Apparently NFL ratings have plummeted so you are probably in the majority.

Just makes you a fair weather fan. Not there for us when we are down? Don't be around when we win either.

I watch every game

every

I play pick 'ems every year and will never bet against the Steelers

ever

and yeah they probably will lose

and if they get blown out

I will be watching to the very end

very

I ONLY KNOW ONE WAY

hi

I take the good with the bad. I'm one to always go down with the ship. I suffered through the 80's and the kordell years. This isn't ****. All is not lost. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!

I personally think we're going to win the game. I don't know how,but we will. They're just men. All men can be beat!

I mean.. remember last week, the meme was the Dolphins repainting their end zone welcome Le'Veon and Antonio? You just never ******* know

It's not that I'm not still a fan. Just don't like watching games I know the ending to.

It's not like I don't watch games that we aren't favored in. As I said I haven't missed even one second of one game in over a decade.

I simply have better things to do than watch a Landry Jones led Steelers team lose to the Pats......not maybe lose........lose.

If simply being willing to suffer through what is sure to be a predictable outcome makes anyone a better fan than me?

Fine.

I know one thing. Nobody would bet their next paycheck on this game (unless you're just independently wealthy) having the Steelers winning.

Okie dokie tweek, great thread, we're all rooting for ya

Moving on....

Game of the year for the Pats maybe....

For us? LMFAO!!!!!

Get off the bandwagon then puss. You never know how a game will turn out.

As I've said before there are quite a few whiny ***** fans on this site and you seem determined to be named their leader

You keep defending of being a fan............I define a bandwagon er as YOU. Feel free to JUMP as our wagon seems to have many like you. I choose to watch each and every game and until the very end. As slash had staeted, I KNOW NO OTHER WAY!!!!!! So in closing, Laugh Your ******* *** right OFF the STEELERS band wagon.

Salute the nation

Sounds like every Bengal fan I have ever met.

From February to The end of July I go through Steeler withdraw and when training camp starts,I'm jacked. So if you think I'm ******* conceding anything especially to those *******, and throwing in the towel, you're nuts. A real fan hangs with his team not just when they're playing great and Ben is on fire. Even when they are down and out, injured and playing like crap. You hang with the team, period.
Anyone can root for a team when they're hot, but the true fans don't abandon them and throw in the towel. That's bullshit! And you cannot be a real Pittsburgher at that since we've been through a hell of a lot worse than this and never, ever jumped ship.
Coolie should ban your *** for being a wimp.
