G.Stryker and Bill Washinski (also known as Cope and FSF on the SteelerNation.com football forum), get out from behind the keyboard and start breaking down some film. First the running woes from the WFT game…more like WTF… Then another Hidden Play from last week that helped the Steelers win a fumble that led to a […]

The one play you said both A gaps were open and Snell chose the B gap. I think the LB was #51 and was roaming free. I thought the B gap was the better read for Snells skill set. The cutback may have been open, but Snell probably is not quick enough to hit it. The other A gap the LB was almost in already. I think your point was Snell could have won the one on one battle. Im just curious as to why you think the right A gap was more open than the B gap.

For me I felt this is what a RB wants. 2 wide open A gaps, a man blocked by the center, and a free man you try to fit in the gap that you are not. I was saying to the left of Haus which is the A gap viewing wise, to the right (I was talking from the RB perspective, but shouldn't have done that for viewing purposes). 51 was already moving with Snell's first step, so a cut back would have been an untouched TD.

NICE view Cope & Bill, I thank the both of yaz. That was a great play and like you and others say...... It's the small things that add up. Always look forward to these and learn a lot along the way.

EDIT: I don't actually watch but I LISTEN to the podcast while I'm cooking supper usually.

It's made to be listened to, I just like putting in some visual elements at times to spice it up, but I try to describe it to the best of my ability, so the plays should make sense if you're just listening.

They absolutely do Cope, you draw the visual picture great and easy to follow, again thanks.
