Feiler to left guard … as a gimmick vs. Donald?

You seem a little skeptical about this from your article DK, so am I. Aaron Donald is lightning quick and has incredible hands/punch, I don't know if they need a huge, powerful guy like Feiler as much as they need a guy with the soundest technique, perhaps DeCastro?

But I don't know the real gist of our OL play, maybe Feiler has the technique they're looking for.
 
They move Donald all over the place, so they'll all get their shot at him. Donald has one less tackle for a loss than Heyward and Watt combined, the guy is unblockable at times.

Donald is best on the inside. This outside of the box thinking without fully showing their hands is a good thing.

Rudy is a bit fumble prone, presser up the middle for him is asking for disaster. Feiler is perhaps the strongest OL player and hardest to bull rush on the team.

Feiler will be the replacement for Foster at LG eventually anyways.
 
Feiler is supposed to be the strongest OL. Sucks that Foster is still out but anyone who watched last week knows we can't roll with Finney or Rudolph could end up murdered on the field. Finney is a terrible guard, decent center.

Terrible guard? I think that's a little harsh, he's played really well when given the opportunity in the past. Maybe last week wasn't his best game but he can bounce back.
 
I see it as a fall back if Finney gets his *** beat. They will shuffle Feiler over and bring in another Tackle. Odd that it's Okorafor when he has been a healthy scratch. They must plan on continuing with the unbalanced line with Banner.

You remember his first start though against Kansas City? He was really good that game. I actually couldn't believe how good he was. I thought he was going to have a bright future but I haven't been paying that close of attention to the OL lately.

He's a terrible guard. No way you want him opposite Aaron Donald. If he was any good they wouldn't have resigned Foster.

Fumble prone based on the speculative scouting report you read on him criticizing hand size or by actual results?

I’ve met Donald 3 Or 4 times... the man is as nice as they come but he is a tree trunk. Fieler is going to have his work cut out for him.

AD is super nice and was cool enough to have a 10-15 convo with me. Sometimes my job has perks

wait, your basing your stance of finney being a terrible guard, based on some evaluation you're assuming the coaching has because they decided to re-sign foster? this coaching staff has a reputation for resigning vets, even if they maybe shouldn't.

Stupid and desperate measure, why weaken 2 position with one fell swoop. Funny how we always increase our rushing yards each time Finney replaces the terrible Foster at guard but Tomlin wants to tinker against the best DLineman in the league as if Feiler is some stud who can do the job. Donald will eat his lunch is this is done and chuks will fail at tackle if his awful preseason is any indicator of his ability.
