That is quite an interesting draft board you used...I used Optimum Scouting.
22: R1P22, CB JALEN COLLINS, LSU
The top pass rushers were gone and there were no other significant players of note, so I took a risk and selected Collins, hoping that his size and athleticism will translate to the NFL. Working out with Tom Shaw and his crew of NFL players right now.
56: R2P24, OLB LORENZO MAULDIN, LOUISVILLE
Big drop off at OLB after Mauldin, so I did not want to risk missing out. Will need time to develop, but has pretty good potential to turn a well-rounded player. High character.
87: R3P23, RB TEVIN COLEMAN, INDIANA
Considered a second cornerback here or a dropping guard or tackle, but the talent at running back was too good to pass up. The entire group of second-tier running backs were available, and Coleman is the highest rated of the group.
118: R4P22, TE CLIVE WALFORD, MIAMI (FL)
Good size and ability to develop as a blocker and receiver. Much better prospect than Blanchflower and a steal at this point of the draft. Also considered him in the third round.
152: R5P24, CB QUANDRE DIGGS, TEXAS
Hoped to grab two cornerbacks in this draft and happy to find a slot defender in the fifth round. Likely too small and slow to play outside, but has potential to play well in the nickel role and I am fine with that at this point of the draft.
183: R6P23, DT JOEY MBU, HOUSTON
His college coaches are said to love him. Potential as a DE/NT at the next level. High football character.
214: R7P22, WR CHRIS CONLEY, GEORGIA
Size and speed. Very raw, but I am fine using him as a deep threat.
