Well the week almost made it by with out a Raider's Week add or subtract but put your two bits in

In the 70's it was an arch rival to mock any of today's standard rivalries,.....YES even the Baltimore / STEELERS rivalry. The Raiders and STEELERS meet several times in the AFCCG with the STEELERS dominating. Don't think it was an easy road as I believe either the STEELERS or The Raiders or both were in the AFCCG 8 out of the ten times in that decade (if memory serves). Fierce battle and one up-mans-ship took place quite often. Late hits and dirty play often and the immaculate reception was against the Raiders or should I say Felons as some questionable talent played for that team at the time.

I'm sure many can add to this and I do hope you have a story or two to contribute along the way.

Boys of BLACK &. GOLD.........................38
Children of Silver n black...........................24

Ridley don't break 65 yards rushing but J-Sam breaks 100 yards all purpose.

AB gets two TDs as JUJU gets 1. The BOZ kicks 100% & Ben blows 380 yards away.
"D" gets two turn-overs and holds them to 87 yards rushing / 243 yards passing

Lately the Raiduhs give us a tough game even when they're bad, like beating us with Terrell Pryor at QB.
Shades is playing a bad team on the road. In which case, you always take the home team regardless of the point spread. Last I looked it was Steelers +11. If Mikey Cool Shades covers that it will be a f'n miracle.
Shades is playing on the west coast where traditionally he does not do well.
If we win it will probably be close. If we lose I won't be surprised at all, adding to Shades' legacy of a roughly .500 record against sub-.500 teams on the road.

Mike McCarthy would look good in Black & Gold. Wasn't used properly in Green Bay.

From 1970 thru 1984, the Steelers and Raiders played 15 times, including 6 times in the playoffs. It was quite the rivalry back in the day.

Personally, I always love beating Oakland.

RED-HOT POKER!!!!!!!! etc etc.

Generally we save that for the CHEATRIOTS, but with your inexperience of usage, we'll still give you and A+ just because you are U
