According to the Post Gazette, the NFL will allow teams to open up their facilities to players with restictions. These barriers include NFL and local regulations. Coaches are not allowed at this phase but medical, strength and conditioning, etc are. They have implemented restrictions such as 75 people in a facility at a time but can use more than one facility to accommodate more personnel.

Coaches will be included once this first phase proves viable I guess. There is so many variables that I couldn't include all and had trouble downloading the article because I'm a boomer.

Too bad the PA governor is a dumbass. Steelers can't open unless he changes his dictator rules.

Be interesting to see if any California or NY teams open, or Detroit, Miami, New Orleans, Chicago, Seattle

No matter what NFL says, what if states wont let them?

they can go and train in a state that allows it.

I actually saw some articles this morning saying the Steelers facility will be open. The governor must have caved.

what happened to not opening any facilities until all teams could? I thought Raj said that very adamantly somewhere. I guess Kraft musta pulled the string again.

Goodell ... "if state and local governments allow it"

Good first step

There is no right answer but if they take the right precautions, screened check-in w/temperature readings (honest ones). Remeber people, it isn't just the players / team / management health that we are concerned about but also ALL THOSE who could be infected by such actions.

NICE to see the authoritive figure at his best.......................

Salute the nation

DeSantis: "Teams that can't play in their home states are welcome here in FL"

Sounds like maybe he knows there won't be a college season?

I guess some teams will get the jump on the competition

Giants’ team facility will remain closed next week

Some 22 of 32 team facilities will reopen next week sans coaching staffs, who are prohibited by the NFL from returning yet.

The Giants are among the teams that won’t reopen next week, which isn’t a surprise given New Jersey remains under a public health emergency through at least June 6.

Giants senior vice president of communications Pat Hanlon confirmed to NorthJersey.com that the team’s facility would remain closed for now.

The newspaper cited a source who confirmed the Jets also will not reopen next week.
