I'm just hoping it will be evened out this year, and everybody else will be slow starting as well.
 
Long time for a QB to be out perhaps out of the gates we should de-escalate our expectations....

If this is a backward year for all teams then maybe the STEELERS "backward" is forward and fast start.... I'm not saying perfect football but good enough to go 3-0 or 2-1 in September. I think they are fully capable of that. As for weather they make the play offs or not, if it's the NOT, then it is a fail. Last year they just missed play offs with out BEN. They have improved this team over last year and the NFL has added another PO spot so you can see why I say FAIL.

My gut says AFCN champions and September determines # 1. Or #2 seed, provided the "D" isn't called differently due to Roethlisberger playing.

Why would September football look bad? The smart media people always tell us there is no need for preseason games. Just play more regular season games. It'll be fine.
