Watching the Packers - Cowgirls game and Rodgers just did the Lambeau leap into the stands. Not trying to be a putz but why isn't that considered a penalty every time? Isn't using the stands considered a prop just like when AB jumped on the goal post? I mean, if the league is going to be a bunch of pansies about "excessive celebration", then they shouldn't make exceptions just for the Packers or anyone else.

Old topic - that "celebration" is grandfathered in at Lambeau...

Just like if we were to use the Terrible Towel after every touchdown - there'd be no penalty...

Just following Roger's orders I suppose.

William Gay dances excessively after his pick 6 INT, 15 yards.

AJ Green punts the ball into the stands, no penalty.

Its a conspiracy to keep the fans from knowing exactly what constitutes any penalty!

It shouldn't be but it obviously is. If one of our guys started waving a terrible towel on the field, I guarantee he would get called for the penalty. No doubt about it.

Without a doubt.

You're probably right, knowing how things get stacked against us every week - but, technically it shouldn't be...

I watch buffalo player spin the ball in the end zone and then hit it with his hand. no ball to be used in celebration. officials must watch the cheer leaders half the time.

Just like "going to the ground" is supposed to be a penalty with sack celebrations, but how ******* often do you see that happen each week? Refs used to call Keisel for his arrow celebration, but I rarely see it called anymore. Or "any blow the the QB's head" is supposed to be a flag as well—Ben got his nose broken by Ngata.

It's a Gdamn joke. ******* Green kicks the ball in the stands, no penalty, Gay does a little dance, penalty. Really? **** the NFL WWE, and **** Burfict. I hope he tears both ACLs and never plays again, dirty ******* *****.

Thing is, since they've moved the kickoff up so far it really isn't a penalty at all.

Did Cam get penalized the other week after he dabbed for 10 minutes? By the way, I loved every second of it.

I think it might have to do with the fact that its off the field of play. You can pretty much celebrate anyway you want as long as you are not taunting the opponent or their fans (if on the road), and as long as you take it past the 5 yard boundry out of bounds.
