I think this would be an excellent idea to pursue, purely from a financial aspect.

Transfer ALL prisoners with a death sentence or life without parole. We save a shyteload of money AND have more spaces for other criminals. They also are willing to take any illegals for deportation.

While I don’t agree with just sending any ‘ol criminals, the ones whose lives are over wouldn’t bother me in the slightest. With all the lifers gone we could also bring more safety to the US prisons, as those there would at least have a chance to get out. It would also allow for long term inmates to be housed separately at a few locations.

It's a terrible idea, one that violates the U.S. Constitution in the most egregious way. Just take your criminals back, we'll handle ours.

If we're having trouble handling the lifers in our prisons, then we need to reform our prisons and get the animals under control. But you don't send Americans off to a foreign country to be imprisoned and governed by that country's laws and policies, no matter who they are.

And I'm assuming that El Salvador would be expecting to be paid for their hospitality? We know how wonderful prisons for profit have been in our country, can't imagine what a **** show it'd be if we outsourced it.

This is a hard pass, shouldn't even be entertained.

I can’t think of a better deterrent than a one way trip to the worst prisons in the world. Their lives are over, who cares.

With the audit of the Treasury Department, there should be capital to "invest" in our prison systems.
Too bad the days of shipping them all off to some place like Australia knowing they would never return is no longer an option.

Sounds like a good trade deal to me.

I approve of ignoring liberal judges. I hope Trump continues to defy these lower court liberal judges and forces everything to the Supreme Court.

Me too. Just as the liberal judges ignore our laws dealing with much of the crime these days.

Absolutely not!
But I'm willing to negotiate.
How about 2/3rds to Australia. No rafts and two fishing rods per person?

Anyone who lives and votes in PA please vote NO for retention of the three state supreme court justices who are up for retention. That's who locked us down in Covid and redrew the election maps.
