Looks like Bud has a torn pec muscle or at least something a little more serious than originally thought so he will likely miss multiple weeks if not the rest of the season if it truly torn. That being said, it's time for Ola. He will be getting snaps this weekend for sure. A couple things that Ola is already better than Bud at is pass rushing and stopping the run. From what I saw in preseason, he was more stout against the run and set the edge better. The obvious was his pass rush ability, he has an array of moves and knows how to set them up.

Needless to say, it's going to be fun seeing what he can do on Sunday. If you remember correctly, the game against the Chargers back in 2005 was a breakout game for another #92. I don't expect Ola to be amazing but I think he will hold his own and continue to get better the more snaps he gets.

He will play well. Dud Dupree will never get his starting job back.

Darn. Dupree was having his best season. He's singed for the 2019 season, but beyond that the Steelers will have a tough call when he hits free agency.

Okay Tomlin, why not try out rookie Matt Thomas?

If it's a tear, Dupree is done for the season. Must be a strain for him to have a chance to return.

I'm surprised he's listed as questionable. I'm thinking if it was a tear, he'd have no chance.

They aren't going to put Thomas outside. If they were going to to, they would have gave him some chances by now.

He's good to go:

Bud Dupree said he was a full practice participant today. He should be fine Sunday

Damnit! Coaches need to tell him he's no help to us when he's not 100 percent healthy and there's no way he is 100 percent.
I mean, he's not really helpful at 100 percent but yeah.
Ola better still get a helmet.

****. I went from hope for a better player at the position to "Oh great, more waves crashing against the rocks."

Dupree is a tad injury prone and IMO is not a fast healer.

mufucker healed from a torn pec inside an hour and you want to say he's not a fast healer?

Great.

Bud's powers of invisibility resurfaced against Denver, and even his patented one splash play per game (or maybe two if we're really lucky) failed to materialize.

And now he'll be "managing the pain" on top of it.
