Some fans may know him as The Wizard of Boz while others consider him the fourth “Killer B”. Kicker Chris Boswell is deserving of both nicknames, and just as deserving of a long-term contract. Why would they tag a guy when they get zero in return. He is as good as gone. Seattle will snap him up. I dont get why tgey signed Berry and are prepared to let Boz walk.

They have to offer Boswell a second round tender cause the lowest tender is just the right of first refusal and Boswell wasn't drafted so they'd get nothing if he signed elsewhere.

As long as the red zone offense is going to suck, and it's sucked for a long time, we need a good kicker.

You need one even if it doesn't suck,

a kicker is like a gun.

Better have one and not need it, than not have one and need it.

In that crunch moment if it is the difference between going on a round in the playoffs or staying home.

A damn good one is worth his weight in gold.

If they let him go it would be one of the dumber moves they have made. He was 35 / 38 last year and i think had 4 game winners along with a 53 yrd FG at home. There is no reason not to give him another deal. Pay the man

Im concerned Seattle will make a big offer. They lost 3 games because of their kicker including a week 17 which was meaningless but he didnt know that when he kicked it.
