But Cleveland is only two games back. You know, there is a real chance the Steelers could end up at or near the very bottom of this division.

I'd say that's a pretty high probability given the play of this team over the last 4 weeks.

WhoALy ****,..............the sky is falling......................

Salute the nation

I told my son last night if we lose the next two and are out of the hunt I will pull for the browns to win the division if they are still in it, and will cheer for them against the rats or cheats in the playoffs if they make it. I know I know I anit a true steeler fan yada yada yada.

I stand by my prediction that the NFL will do everything in it's power to ensure Mike Tomlin goes 8-7-1.

Jackson was fired.
Rivera was fired.
Lewis will likley be fired.

The league NEEDS one of the minority coaches to have a positive season. They CAN'T have them all fail in one season.

The Bengals won't get a call to save their souls. And Tomlin will still struggle to pull off a win, but he'll get it. That will ensure the 8-7-1 season. And he'll continue to be known as the guy who's never had a losing season.

And I know what you're thinking!

But the refs did EVERYTHING in their power to give the game to the Steelers yesterday.

Well, (and try not to take this the wrong way...) If Chucky loses another game, it's a super-win. Steelers go 8-7-1 and Lewis gets his going away victory. Feel good all the way around. Now, the Bengals WILL be shafted since Tomlin isn't able to even take 130 yards in penalties and make something of it.

I swear, did ANYONE ask Boswell what cleats he was wearing?

I agree. What I don't get is why people never talk about the fact that 8-8 or 8-7-1 isn't a winning season either.

"Non-Losing".

That's key! He's NEVER had a losing season.

Groan.... NOOOOOOOOO!

The Browns are a very entertaining team to watch, I turned off the Steelers game recording to watch them play the Panthers for a good long time

Proof that you'd always been a Browns fan Troll.

Welcome back Hank the Tank...

I watched the Ravens Chiefs game too....and the Pats Dolphins - any game was better than staring at another Steelers implosion

I FF to the end of Steelers games for 3 straight weeks just to watch them blow another lead

The players come out pre game for warm ups. Any of them shouldn't have to be told if their cleats ******* suck on the conditions. He's a kicker, not a football player. Out of all of them HIS dumb *** should have changed them if it was a problem. He's done, he has the yips and can't even be counted on for an XP. Cap hit or not, the fact that he still has a job tells you how completely stupid our organization is.

Did you even watch how he planted his foot? The only way different cleats would have mattered is if he would have had them on the SIDE OF HIS SHOE. He planted his foot on the side of his shoe.

The Browns finally got a QB to lead the team. He doesn't care that he's playing in Cleveland like some other guys, he just wants to go out and win. There is talent in place and if they hire the right coach, that team could make a big leap pretty fast.

Hell, haven't they already won more games this season than the last 3 years combined? And to the OP, that's a pretty hard pill to swallow when Steeler fans normally associate them with actual dumpster fires and fictional factories that actually produce sadness.
