I realize you cant put all your eggs in one basket but you have to think that its a strong possibility that you face the jags or another defensive oriented run first team. Any of those teams don't create matchup problems in the pass game. You have two weeks to plug the run stop. Why not prepare a 4-3 variation. Grave digger and Tuitt at strong A and B gaps. Aloualou and Heyward at weak A/B. Vinnie in the middle. Watt and Dupree Weak Strong C depending upon their ability. All their ****** receivers are manned up. If they play action continue your gap to the qb. Id rather flex my scheme to my talent then jam ****** talent into my scheme.

The TEXANS running game just pancaked the whole D line onto their ***** right up the gut and around the edges! - the Jags will run right through them no matter what "scheme" you dream up.

Only way to win is to keep Ben hot and getting 40+ points in the playoffs. Defense is irrelevant, they will be gashed one way or another.

You take away your opponents strength. Im seeing bad angles by the two inside backers. Plug the two A gaps with big bodies. Hold your edges with your two best force unit players. The linebackers have to fill. But thats a thumper and two number ones. I would be fine manning up the pass. Totally different with Haden in there.
