What about it? This happens all of the time.
 
The only time I've ever seen it happen is when the ref announces that there was a clock problem, and to add a specific amount to the game clock. I've NEVER seen it done based on a QB's gesture, and then just flat ignored.
 
maybe the TV crew got the time wrong and had to re-adjust?

i seen the video.......but Brady just gesturing to the operator and he resets the clock? especially after the deflategate and suspesion and knowing the entire country would be watching?

i dunno........seems like a screw up more than cheating.
 
When the video starts, there's still plenty of time left, and they're already in the huddle. Tells me the initial time was correct. And yes, I have no doubt they are still blatantly cheating. They are THAT arrogant, and they know without a doubt they'll get away with it.
 
I can't believe I'm saying this.......... But I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on this one. Lots of times the network graphic doesn't match with the real play clock, or the real play clock wasn't reset properly. I don't think this was a cheat.
 
Remember the GF catching it saying how did their clock get reset.

Definitely odd..............

yeah I don't think that is the case.

But on the flip side I think we have seen enough with that team to not think they are cheating in some sort of way /fashion.
 
Frankly, I don't trust Goodell any more than the Pats. But putting that aside, do you really think the NFL is going to try to do anything against the Pats at this point, even if they wanted to? The Pats have the league by the balls, and they know it.

It happens all the time at games. The offense notices that the clock is ticking down and they signal to reset the play clock. Our own QB does it. Heck, I even watched it happen today at a Division III college football game. Nothing to see here.

I think the previous play was incomplete
 
As much BS that goes on with this FlUCKED up franchise, it is possible this was a cheat, disguised as a non-cheat. How many ,more times does this get done for the cheaters, han say, an average team? I bet, like fumbles, it's an elevated statistic. NOTHING and i mean nothing, will surprise me in the extent of the cheating going on, with the cheatriots. His name isn't billicheat, for nothing............

speaking of fumbles I read the footballs (PFT) will be randomly checked ?

WTF if true, I know there is no fricken way that the NFL could let clubs still have access to the footballs. SMH if true....
 
On the prior play there was an incomplete pass to Gronk on the sideline. They don't show it on tv but the referee makes an announcement with about 20 seconds left on the play clock that it was incomplete and why. It is not unusual to reset the play clock after the referee makes an announcement.
 
The thing is, they ARE that arrogant. That's the part that just friggin kills me. They FLAUNT their cheats and still get away unscathed.
 
Whether it's done "all the time" or not it's still a big wtf? Doesn't matter who, when or where.......what time keeper is instructed to take signals from a player? If someone sneaks an orange mitt into the huddle does he get to signal for a TV TO? Something just seems weird about that scenario.....

I agree slash, if this is truely the case............... WTF are they thinking????? This whole NFL is becoming more and more and more "fixed" than any game / roulett wheel, ever seen !!!!!!!!

AMAZing you bring up the "orange" mitt. That was the beginning of the beginning of the nfl, learning to control or manipulate a game. They did it all the time in the early 90's and it fruitationed mid to late 90's. The public caught on so then they had to find another way. The rules became more shaded or JUDGEMENT type call. All this following through to todays game. With B-I-G money comes BIG results.

This wasn't cheating and im tired of seeing it all over Facebook. The play clock gets reset all the time because they don't stop it long enough or they forget to stop it while the refs are resetting the ball. It happens multiple times a game.
