Thank you, nice article. The thing that really bothers me is someone had to confront Simms afterwards with the correct statistics either in person or twitter, whatever. Will he "clarify" his ignorance on the matter, I'm guessing no and that's what burns me. What's the agenda Chris, you would hope some nationally known talking head would jump in and tell Simms that his numbers are way off and his argument flawed. Doubt it happens though.

It's one thing to have a different opinion and offer up an argument.

It's another to mislead with incorrect & obscure data and then contradict yourself within a 4-minute piece.

Here is the thing... TJ deserved it last year and was screwed out of it by the new england narrative ... typically when that happens to a guy he is awarded it the next time he is close... and honestly while Donald is probably the best defensive player of this era, his impact and stats aren’t significantly separated from TJ’s... some of these guys, like Garrett that the media is hyping, are severely subpar across the board...

What can kill TJ is that several teammates are also going to get some attention... but it shouldn’t be enough to sway anything...
 
when is it announced? he should win it no doubt. the 1st of many. at lease 3 to match his bro
 
When TJ wins this award him and JJ will ascend to the top tier of successful sports brothers.

TJ stats, not sacks, but his TFL, QB Hits, passes defensed are significantly separated from Donalds this year.
 
Dude should have won it last year! It is frustrating, because it's obvious that not everyone voting is educated on the player and his impact. Splash plays or ESPN hi lites are basically just Cliffs notes to knowing what the hell you're voting for.
 
I believe Bouchette said there's 38 voters, can't remember if that was the number, but none from Pittsburgh

He use to be, but now he is strictly HOF. He said when he stopped with the DPOY and awards like that, they never replaced him with another Pittsburgh guy.

Donald-16 games, 13.5 sacks, 27 solo tackles, 14 TFL's, 27 QB Hits, 4 FF, 1 PD, 0 INT.

Not even close.
