I’ve got a whole different theory on that comment. Germany has a huge guilt complex. Obviously because of the two wars. They bend over backwards to try and show the world that they are a peaceful welcoming country no matter what race.

I also read an article once interviewing Angela Merkel. She was talking about how the birth rate was so low and the average age of life so high that they needed immigration to keep the country going. To support pension plans etc.
Of course the economy was going gangbusters at the time with unemployment at a low.

Yeah ,the Nazi WW2 guilt runs deep,but doing what they're doing now is a country killer. Boy they sure have gone soft. They'd better unfuck themselves pretty quick before it gets ugly.


My whole family on both sides have German in them, with my great grandfather being the only German speaking of the lot.

You should hear my uncles over there. To say they are unhappy is an understatement. The thing is….all eyes are on Germany because of the wars. And will be for decades. I imagine a real tough talking far right would be monitored nonstop. I would not doubt for a minute some type of intervention would happen if the world thought there was any perceived type of disorder going on. I can imagine the media would have a field day.

I can only imagine what type of soft crap is taught in the schools.
But what choice did they have realistically. It will take generations.
 
These immigrants are just animals. What is it about them? It's one thing to have people immigrate to your county but, these fuckrs come and start making a major nuisance of themselves. I mean, they claim to be coming for a better life then they start trying to turn this land into the same shiithole they just left. They need to be rounded up put on a plane and thrown out, mid-flight, into the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Save the immigrants that want to contribute to the country and deport the rest into the ocean.

Not that I disagree with you booted. I get totally what you’re saying. Of course there are thousands upon thousands of decent law abiding immigrants.
It’s the vetting system that has to be totally improved. I always find myself in a touch of a different space when talking about immigration. As I am a son of 2 immigrants who came to Canada after the big exodus of Europeans after WW2. Of course my mom and dad did everything legally,my dad became a citizen within a year of landing. With the classic 2 cents to your name upon landing. The stories my dad can tell. Man oh man. A different era.

I’ve traveled to many countries in my life. Where I live we have many immigrants from India. I must admit the way some act when they come over here was quite head scratching to me when I was a lot younger. There was and still is a lot of racism directed towards them. Religion as usual plays a big part. I’ve been to India a couple times. Went through the mind numbing slums of New Delhi. The poverty and desperation really is quite shocking. And made me understand a touch of the way some act when they come here. Not saying I condone it…..just understand it a bit more. Talk about a dog eat dog world….true desperation. Many come over here with the same mentality. It takes a generation or two.

That's the thing, Western Europe in general has a ticking population bomb. Leadership recognizes this but they're not fixing the problem the right way.
Taxes and costs of their Socialist economies are so high that people can't afford to have kids. Instead of fixing their economies they import workers.

I know things have changed a hell of a lot in the past 30 years Ron. As far as the Socialist programs for the actual workers. The things I would hear from my uncles about perks the government would pay for was just unbelievable to me. Italy,France ,Germany and The Netherlands had to tighten right up. Which I believe is why so many are pissed off at their government and immigrants. When you hear the examples of money handouts given to new immigrants for housing,health care,food,jobs etc it too is shocking. Putting rental properties at near zero vacancies,which of course drives the price sky high for everyone. No wonder there is so much unrest. I get the feeling the fun has yet to begin.

Somewhere within the past couple of generations it has become acceptable to not assimilate into American culture and society. While there have always been places like Chinatown and Little Italy as well as many others, those segments of the population did not demand that we change our laws and morals to suit them. My great grandfather brought his family from Italy at the turn of the 20th century, and according to my Dad, told his family that from that point forward only English would be spoken. Not sure that actually happened, but they did learn English to the point that my Dad didn't speak a word of Italian.

Same in my family. I took Italian class at the local community college.

All of Western Europe has been soft in the post-WWII era because we were providing most of their defense.
It's also how they could afford Socialism and free medical. Until now.

There is a difference between immigrants and terrorists. Probably at least 95% of immigrants really want to make a better life for themselves, but the other 5% are either terrorists or just criminals in general. 5% of 1mil is 50,000 people. Even at 1% are bad you are looking at over 30k people per year. In 2023 there were 3.3 million estimated legal immigrants and who knows how many illegals. That is a lot of bad people to let into the county. The whole immigration / border security process is just a hot mess. Instead of spending billions / trillions in other countries first priority should be to secure the borders / vetting process.

Well, Mr. Welcher Boy let me tell you. Even the ones that are not terrorists are destroying the country.

First by the burden and strain they impose on the services they use and welfare they are given.
Secondly, just by their sheer numbers they are voting in their muslim plotters into positions of power and will slowly implement in small amounts (at first) their religious laws and rules.
Thirdly, NONE OF THEM give a $hit about America or our way of life. They seem innocent enough "oh I vant betta life for me and family" but, their loyalty lies with their muslim culture and leaders.
During protests or wars or small fights and clashes... You see what side they are all on. They're all here in America, not living their better life but, lying in wait. You don't see any of the women dump the oppressive clothing and hidden head wrap. No, because they're still devoted to muslim law.

Unfortunately....I believe it is inevitable that eventually the Judeo/Christian European immigrant culture in America will be eliminated probably within 50 years in this country..

The great American experiment was a great ride for many generations of those that came before us.....but I am not optimistic about what this country will become in the future...

In fact, I see the United States becoming a sort of "world" country with a new constitution, no borders, very lax immigration laws, and an economy that is driven by what is most profitable for all the world powers to share, The country will be governed by a conglomeration of leaders from across the globe, and its military will protect and do what is needed for the worlds largest corporations to continue to thrive and prosper...

I guess that's a pretty dark depressing take on Christmas Eve....but I got my presents wrapped, my girls are all home and happy, and just waiting on Christmas Eve feast of seven fishes (minus 2) to begin!.. :)

Merry Christmas to all....which might also take on a much lesser importance in my convoluted vision of what lies ahead...

Other than that....all is good here on the Delmarva peninsula!

It's all a bit weird. The alleged perpetrator is apparently a now Islamophobic former Muslim. He was also on the German terrorism watchlist. I've also seen one leftist who posts a steady stream of anti-Israel, pro-Palestine rubbish on LinkedIn claim the perpetrator is a Mossad agent.

The media will do some investigating, get the facts all sorted out and report the complete story in a clear, non-confusing manner so the public can be well informed.
