We have a 4th, 6th, and 2 seventh rounders

Rd 4
Guards- Westerman, Alexander
QB-Connor Cook
NT-Billings
WR-Pharoh Cooper
OT-Hawkins
OLB-Nothing exciting...maybe Schobert?

Billings please !

Cooper I would like as well..... Haven't looked at who else is available, but off the list I do like those two.

Rumor is that Billings has a leg issue. If we got him could he play the Nose and Hargreves be the rotational DE?

The Billings ship sailed when they took Hargrave. And I really wanted them to take Billings. But looking at things I think they feel Hargreves is a more flexible player for the modern NFL. They are probably going oline depth next.

So did Billing's leg fall all the way off or something?
Sources close to him say he has no injury. Only thing I have read is some don't like his height, but it is the same as Hargrave. Apparently Hargrave was impressive at East West and Senior Bowl against quality talent.

He does have a cannon for an arm, but can he be taught to read coverage?
Seen this make up before.

He's flashed the ability to read defenses, just not consistently.

He also scored the same on his wonderlic as Ben did.

Among the remaining QB, he seems to be the only one with a legit shot to develop into a good NFL starter.

Definitely worth the risk in the fourth, especially since they've addressed the defense, as he can sit and learn behind Ben for a few years.

Connor Cook is still there, take him and don't look back....

I'm surprised he did that well on the Wonderlic, considering the comments he made about school a few years ago. I figured he was dumb as a rock.

I agree in all of them except QB. Have to add LBs Jatavis Brown and Deion Jones to the list

Take a chance on Cardale Jones.

I know there are more important needs right now but sooner or later I would like to see an attempt to find Ben's replacement. Tall order I know but with Ben's age and injuries I am starting to really get nervous.

Steelers lost a DE and a NT.

This was a strong draft for CB, S and DT.

Why not double down on the D-line and get one more body for competition ?

Don't forget we signed Ricardo Mathews from the Titans, still have McCullers & the developmental LT Walton on the Dline. Not saying we shouldn't add more bodies there, but I'd rather we look for depth on the O-line, at RB/WR and maybe add another corner. My biggest wish is to get an edge guy somewhere, though it looks like slim pickings. They may ride it out with Deebo, Jarvis, Dupree and Moats, with maybe Chikillo getting a shot this year.

I will add that Westerman, Hawkins, and Alexander also look good in the 4th.

I'd still like to see Miles Killebrew drafted somewhere here, put him at ILB to take over for Timmons next year.

Because in the modern NFL NT is just about a few steps ahead of Fullback. If both can play in the Sub packages at least most of the time ok. Otherwise you are spending a lot on two guys who may only see the field 30% of the time. Plus they both have the exact same frame at 6 feet and a bit. So you are essentially drafting the same player.

Cardale Jones
Nassib
Billings
Vadal Alexander.

WR Sharpe

Good refresher on Mathews. Yeah I can see a RB or WR.... or even a Guard.

My thinking is swaying towards them picking for O in 4.

We need a pass rusher. Not sure who is left but I'd like a taller DE or a fast OLB to add to our mix. And, I have a feeling we will draft a WR or RB somewhere. No need for a QB, P, or K.

Devontae Booker, RB, Utah
Pharoh Cooper, WR, South Carolina
Christian Westerman, G, Arizona State
Jatavis Brown, LB/S, Akron
Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
Cardale Jones, QB, Ohio State
