LT Moore lands four-year, $82 million deal with Titans

Free agent left tackle Dan Moore Jr. agreed Monday on a four-year, $82 million deal with the Tennessee Titans, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The deal includes $50 million in guarantees and will pay Moore $50 million over its first two years, including $30 million in Year 1, sources told Schefter.

Congrats to Mr Dan Moore Jr!

Perhaps now he can afford to get that shorter leg looked at.
A friend of mine said he read an article on the Titans signing Moore where it stated that the Titan might reshuffle their OL and Moore could end up at his natural position at RT. I chuckled a bit.

He wasn't as bad as a fee on here thought
Our entire OL was bad. Watching our RBs get hit in the backfield what seemed like constantly was a staple for them. Hopefully they gel this season and get a bunch better.

The worst part is that he hindered Broderick Jones' development because he couldn't play his natural position at LT since it would hurt Dan Moore in the feels.

They sure throw around money like it's nothing in today's game. I think he is a distant cousin. I wonder if he can help a cousin out and pay off my mortgage.

I think our oline coaching stinks and I also think Moore is bad. There are alot of free rushers or guys blocking air. That issue is on coaching / scheme unless we have the dumbest players in the league. We have too much talent to be as bad as they were. Moore is on an island alot and just flat out gets beat alot. You could argue he is expecting help or should get help, but most of it is on him. I think Moore is a solid depth guy, but 20 mil/yr seems really high. If he goes to Tenn and does well hopefully it opens up some eyes.

Bergonzi is an absolute moron when it comes to managing cap space, and this contract for Dan Moore, although just one example, is proof of that. You don't give the worst Tackle in the NFL last year a contract that is in-line with the top tackle in the NFL. WAY over spent on him. I'd be concerned if I were a Titans fan.

Part of that backfield action was the “D” knew the plays. Our beloved scheme telegraphed the play in advance, thus the “D” didn’t have any reserve in them and just pinned back their ears to stop the play (run). NOT defending the **** OL play / coaching, just adding a little more to the picture.

This is a bigger deal than some may think.

Burgundy, you are absolutely right in this.

I just hope Broderick can re-adjust back to being a LT and dominate.
