The Steelers are WAY more productive on sweeps and runs around the side with pulling linemen in particular with Snell and now Whyte. Not sure why they insist on trying to pound it up the middle more often than not. Hope we do less this week. Whyte was impressive on those 2 sweeps where he had an opportunity to find a hole...

You have to live with crap plays to keep your bread and butter alive. You cannot just call your triple A best all the time or they will catch up with their flow. I'm hoping that Duck will improve the TE throws and they add some screens. I like Snell on all first second downs and Samuels on Third. Replace Snell for one series per half max.
 
The "pound Em" days are long gone. I hear yaz but also know you have to mix it up to keep just a little guess work in there. I'd like to see a better game plan and game play calling to set up more advantageous match ups. In other words a a play to set up another play off the same formation. We don't seem to do a lot of that. One more thing, our play calling still seems to,be as iof Roethlisberger will bail them out so if they can just play a better game plan to the advantage of the back up QB, things will be better. I think DUCK can be that guy to a better degree than the current Rudolf.

You've got to pass teams out of 9 man fronts. Nobody is going to run the ball when the defense knows you can't pass it. They need to start throwing on early downs. You've got to back the safeties off.
