He'd still be with them if he was reliable. He made it easy for them to move on.
No link so it never happened. He'd still be with them if he was reliable. He made it easy for them to move on.
Can't say I blame them, he's always been money for them.Fans are pissed on the radio here.

Had a bad year and gone?
Can't wait for them to lose on a missed FG with time running out this year.

There was one lawyer who lined up all the victims in Houston.....I'd imagine someone is doing same now in ratland. It may just be a matter of time.Where's all the venom that Watson got when his tug shows were revealed???
I demand entertainment!!!
I bet without the allegations they would have given him this year to see if he worked things out. I think it was Boz who had one bad year and the Steelers stuck with him and has been money since.
Not to forget that he also signed an extension in 2022 making him the highest paid kicker at the time. The money part does matter.Tucker is about to turn 36, an age well past tge prime of a player. While some short range kickers stay accurate later in their careers, that long leg stuff tends to dip after 35... Tucker already has a year and a half of declining performance... so this equation was easy:
1 36 yr old kicker + 2 straight seasons showing decline + 1 6th round pick at K + a **** ton of SA allegations + a potential suspension = 1 cut veteran kicker

Made 51,129,281$$$$ in his career just on contracts since 2012.
By the way……where is the outrage here? He has not been criminally charged. There are no civil lawsuits.
WAS Mr. Automatic, then he hit that magic age of 35. Then the sexual assault charges, and you got misses out the a$$. PRESTO. He can deny all he wants but usually where there is smoke there is fire. And it doesn't even matter, his reliability is shot and he's 35. The sex assault is irrelevant.Dude was MR. Automatic for them for years. It was nice seeing him miss a few easy ones the past couple of years against us. Sorry to see him go now that he is just another kicker.
Ray Rice and Old Slice didn't really generate the reaction they deserved either. Not to forget that he also signed an extension in 2022 making him the highest paid kicker at the time. The money part does matter.

Not sure it wasn't happy, but he probably thinks it was premature. This was not a happy ending for him.
