First reported by Colin Dunlap, host of the Fan Morning Show in Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Justin Layne was arrested early Friday morning on charges of firearm in vehicle and driving under suspension. Layne’s role was expected to grow this year with the departure of Steven Nelson but it will remain to be seen the outcome of this situation.

This could have been a year he got to contribute more......... oh well we shall see

Smarter choices need to be made from these young folk

I say cut the ******, he is a fringe player so he shouldn't be risking his spot in the roster playing gangster.

Draft Samuels in the 2nd round

Well now you can add Corner to the list of high draft picks required. OL, Corner, Running Back, QB of the future. Unfortunately, you can at best get 2 per draft with immediate impact. GREAT.

TBH - wasn’t really counting on him to make an impact this year.

You have pretty low expectations. He was a third round pick and it is his third season.
We’ve not exactly had a good track record with drafting DBs.
