I'm going to get the NFL replay package so I can start reviewing all 22 plays. Not gonna lie, I'm probably going to geek out a bit when I get it, but hopefully it will help me see the blocking and assignments a bit better than watching the side angle on TV.

I've got some articles lined up this week:
10/9 As the Game Turns
10/10 Hidden play
10/11 The New Dynamic Duo
10/12 SN Podcast (though it may drop sooner)
10/13 Actively Predicting the Inactive List

Tonight would work for an Ask Drunk Cope night, so I'll set up a thread and start responding to the questions after I put my daughter to bed at 8pm.

Do me a favor also, and post topics of discussions you'd like to hear on the podcast. I'll select a few and give you credit. I want to get more traffic to this excellent forum, and I think this is a great way to start building a bigger sandbox.

1)Better and to the point explanation of the TAG & Bell situation. So many here have a wrong knowledge of it.

2) Break down of the 2DL set and what is supose to be covered / assignment

3) psychic state of an NFL kicker

THANKS. Cope for all your hard work and time.

Short week, insomnia, articles written:

11/5 8am: Who rules the North?
11/5 5pm: As the Game Turns
11/6 5pm Hidden Play
11/7 9pm Actively predicting the Inactive List

The podcast should drop on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Unsung Heros? Every play there is a guy who just does his job and this allows others to make a splash play. There are players who do this week in and week out but get little recognition. Aaron Smith as an example from the 2000's. This would be a great subject to study and report on.

Quick answer: the clock has to be running at the snap, to have an option for the 10 second runoff. Dupree's offsides the play before the false start, stopped the clock, so no time was saved with the false start, if no game clock was running. The foul has to stop the clock for a runoff to occur.
