By Brandon WallaceSteelerNation.com PITTSBURGH, PA – Some good and bad news coming out of Pittsburgh today regarding slot receiver Eli Rogers, and starting running back, James Conner. Have a look: With an already banged up Justin Hunter, and an underperforming rookie year to say the least from second round draft pick*James Washington, Rogers will look […]

Had a feeling Conner would be inactive. Probably moves Washington to the bench with Eli back. With JuJu moving outside.

Bringing in a bad slow WR who is coming off an ACL. Couple that with having the POS Burns and the mediocre Sutton starting in place of our best slot corner , Hilton, this team is a clusterfuck, Thanks Tomlin you fat ****.

Yeah, when you put it in those terms, it don't look all warm and fuzzy this week atall.

Actually Rogers is solid enough. The question to me is could he have played a week or two ago? Tomlin sticking with Washington is but one of his many mistakes, and to be honest the rookie has not shown deep speed.

Rogers is solid enough? Not really. He was fine if we had a deep threat and he was your 4th option but as a 3rd Receiver he is slow, mediocre hands and just not a good player.

..I usually go out to my workshop for these kind of games so my wife doesn't have to hear my big mouth and worry about the TV screen to boot. BUT, the TV out there got fried by lightning last week, along with the genie unit. Windstream is mailing me a new DTV unit so now my brand new shop TV is a non-option for this week.

My wife will now have to remove all heavy items from the TV room and go visiting Sunday afternoon.

I guess that means I'll be on my own for dinner..LOL

Go Stillers ?

Compared to Hunter or Washington, he's a stand out. Solid enough as the #3 receiver. I agree we need a deep threat.
