Conner Is Not a Starting Back

I can not see this team winning 5 games.
 
Ya, those HUGE holes he had today. At one point I think there was literally 14 yard gaps on either side of him. Cause the offensive line are pretty much ALL going to the pro-bowl right now.

He fumbled because he was trying to do too much, just like Rudolph was trying to do too much when he threw his pick.

Save yourself a ****-ton of frustration. Accept that any game this team wins is a frickin' miracle.
 
Connor is not the problem by any measure. Blocking and more so, asinine play calling are the issues. I put this loss on Randy And Mike for putting together a putrid game plan.
The Offensive playcalling is a total panicked **** show and the only reason fichtner still has a job is last year come crunch time Ben took over calling the plays. I don't like to fire guys mid season but Randy needs to lose playcalling duties or be shown the door.

Correct, but to say he is a bust is nonsense. That’s like the same folks saying “trade Ben” bc he played like **** this year bf he got hurt (I think he was hurt for awhile but whatever).
 
He is a starting back but his fumbles are starting to add up.

I do think we should use Samules a lot more. TE, RB, FB.
 
I think Sarge nailed it. We have a tough schedule even if we did have Big Ben. Opened in NE against the SuperBowl champs and got stomped. Most teams in the NFL would have lost that game but most would not have lost it so bad.

Game 2 at home against a TOUGH Seattle squad saw us lose big Ben and Mason hung in there but it wasn't enough.

Game 3 we have to travel to the West Coast to play a SF squad that was on fire. Unfortunately we only came away with some filed goals on all of those turn overs and we were actually in the game till nearly the end.

Going to be a LONG tough season.
 
Delayed handoff is THE WORST MOVE....And that is ALL we do
 
There are a lot of starting running backs in the NFL. They either have a good line to run behind or not.
 
Conner doesn't fumble alot but it seems to me he fumbles at critical times in the game.....he's the anti-BuS!
 
I agree with the title of this thread. Great story, but WAY overrated.
