......Fannica (sp) should've got in!!!! Great to see Moss and T.O get their just deserves as they were the best of their era. Dawkins was a beast and glad to see him acknowledged. We all knew Ray Ray was getting in first round, but Urlacher? Sorry but the yinzer in me will always look at Urlacher getting trucked by the BUS!!!! That being said, good class overall. Thought Lynch should've got in too. Makes for a good bar discussion/argument.

Dawkins just opened the door for Safeties There are barely any in the HOF. Lynch will have a tougher time getting in with Pola and Jeff Reed becoming eligible.

I can't argue with any of the guys who got in, except Urlacher. Not saying he should've never gotten in, but first ballot? I don't think so. I also think both Jacoby and Boselli should get in before Faneca.

I really don't think Jeff Reed was that good of a PK..maybe hall of fame of towel dispenser destruction

Can anyone please explain to me why it is that only a handful of guys can be enshrined in any given year? You’re either a HOF’er or your not. Why did Jerry Kramer have to wait 50 ******* years to finally be recognized as something everybody has known all along he already was? I just don’t get the reason for it. Poor Kenny Stabler never even got to enjoy his enshrinement because of this ridiculous rule.

Jerry Kramer was victimized by the "too many 60s Packers/ 70s Steelers" rule, that has kept Shell, and Greenwood on the outside.

The knife, should have had to slice his way through a year or two....before being selected. was he good in the day,.....yes but also that day should have never happened as to how he was involved in the double murder. You or I would still be locked up.............no rayray and his NFL ability.

Salute the nation

holy **** Letterman flew down and gave Alan an extra F and gave him a i.

Yeah, Urlacher was the one that I had to question the most. Especially because it seemed as though once the Bears had their day in the sun in 2006, Urlacher wasn't more than a shell of himself from that point forward. As a matter of fact, I felt he went the way of Brian Bosworth after the Bus ran him over in '05. Of course, I may just have that memory exclusively ingrained in my head with sheer enjoyment, instead of giving Urlacher his proper due. However, I didn't think that he deserved a first ballot ticket.

I agree with this. It sounds really dumb when you hear things like, "yeah, they're a Hall of Famer, but on the first ballot?" Hall of Fame is for the greatest players ever and if you deserve to be in, there's no reason you should have to wait 50 years.

And I agree that Faneca should've been enshrined by now.

So Urlacher doesn't deserve to get in because he got run over by Bettis on one play in his career? Come on.....that's just silly talk. He was a dominating player for a decade.

Somewhere, there's an Ed out there that doesn't agree...
