Sorry: Conflicting AB Reports
Rapport says AB will be 100 percent ready for first playoff game. That AB has said he would be ready for week 17 if needed. Other reports say he wouldnt be ready for a wildcard round match up. Cmon 49ers. End this **** this week and set up the Steelers.

The orthopedic surgeons my wife works with say a partial tear is usually 4-6 weeks to heal.

Schefter says he would be expected to be totally ready for the divisional round but not the wild card... ignore rappaport... he is an idiot

I would like to ignore at least one of them.

AB posted a video of himself rehabbing in his driveway with some magnets or electrodes on his calf. He was going up and down the driveway with someone yelling at him. He's not moving well but he is rehabbing on it already.

A couple points. He certainly doesnt look like anyone playing football soon. That said. Im starting to believe the Steelers that it is a severe contusion. If he tore something in his calf I dont believe they would let him do what he did in the video. Too much opportunity for further injury. No one will outwork AB in trying to get back.

Just beat the Texans, and ensure two more weeks of rest and rehab for AB, and he'll be good to go! I have a feeling we'll have a 3rd date with the Ravens.

I have no doubt AB will be back for the playoffs. This guy is a workout warrior.

Antonio Brown up and walking for the first time since his injury

In the video, you can see Brown under the encouragement of his trainer not only walking on his injured leg for the first time in seven days but also going up the stairs without help

Antonio Brown struggles to climb his stairs

Brown isn't putting any weight on his injured calf as he looks to be back for the postseason.

"Feeling better, better from yesterday," Brown said. "We'll see. Looking forward to the process of getting better."

I wonder how much this is being played out..

He’s hurt yes. But it could most certainly be worse.

Fortunate that he has two more weeks to rest -- and in his place Bryant gets a chance to make plays and get confidence back.

Videos of Brown working on the leg are on Instagram. No one is in better shape or will work any harder than AB.

I like what Bryant has done the last two weeks. Getting the deep ball was a challenge all year and he finally got one. Juju is also advancing his game. The offense is getting scary good and if Lex's favorite China Doll can stay on the field McDonald is adding a new wrinkle in the middle of the field.
