Dunno if anyone else saw the list of propsed rule changes today but apparently the Colts proposed the following:

If you make a 2pt conversion you can elect to take a 50 yard FG to earn an additional 1 point for a 9 point total.

I'm sure it will never pass, but wow.

Well why the hell not. The league's goal is to make the game as close to basketball on grass as possible. This only ups the opportunity for more scoring.

not bad...but allow the D to return it.

To bad everything is so centered around the O...love D, wish the NFL would allow them to play.

Yes, but then when the defense returns it all the way to the other endzone, they can go for .5 or .25 with a kick. We will call them the extra, extra, extra, extra point attemps!

Too many replay rules. I think I'm good with 12 and 13, but where is the "a catch is a catch" rule change?

Allow the defense to return conversations for 2 points.

I thought the colts would be more interested in making sure balls are properly inflated.

It would slow the game down way too much. Do we really need more point after conversions?

The way to speed up the game is to cut out half the ******* commercials, no commercial timeouts.

This is what I really dislike anymore. Score a TD. Commercial. Xtra point. Commercial. Kick off. Commercial. The LEAGUE needs their cash flow so I don't see it changing.

Did the Colts lose a big game where they were down by 9 but managed to score a TD and 2 pt conversion or something?

There is no commercial between the TD and extra point, unless they are reviewing the call. :p

Hahaha, ironic, the **'s want more cameras.....I don't know why they already bring their own extra camera angles lol.

Seriously though that's an idea I've wondered for awhile why there aren't cameras along the goal line, so it is a good proposal even if it was the **'s proposing it.

While they are at it, let's propose this. Improve that rule proposal a bit more. If they make the 50 yard field goal, then they get a chance for a 65 yard field goal for 1/2 point. And if they make that one, ...

Seriously though, that rule proposal is ******* stupid. Could you imagine the quandary that 1/2 points would throw into Tomlin's 2-point decisions. Down by 9.5, from the 12...

How about if a team scores a TD, they can go for 2 at the 2yd line, or go for 3 pts from the 5yd line, or another 6 pts if they score from the 10yd line, lets really give PATs some options for teams. Hahaha this is ridiculous

And if they're successful in getting those 9 points, the offense regains possession and gets mutliball! In multiball, a team is allowed to use two balls and two QBs! All yardage and points earned during mulitball are added together!

Who would not take a free chance to earn an extra 1 point after making a 2 point conversion? I'd pass on this.

A better option might be this...extra points are boring. Give 7 for a touchdown. Skip the extra points. Then an option to kick a 50 yard field goal for 1 more point, but if you miss, the touchdown is only worth 6 points! I think that would be a bit better. 8 points via kick or two point conversion, or six points on a failed attempt.
