ooooooh boy, fun fun fun! I can see it now: Colbert leaves to go back to Detroit, and the Rooney's trip over themselves to offer Mike Tomlin the opportunity to select his own, hand-picked GM to work with...because he's such an amazing coach and all. Or hell! Just give Tomlin the title of GM/Coach!

if that happens, I weep for this organization. Ed Dobbs is a hot name the Steelers should jump on if Colbert bolts. They need fresh eyes.
 
I guess he finally got tired of watching Tomlin waste all of that great talent that he brings in..

It must be a substantial amount because he was talking retirement last year I think, and at his age to basically go to a bad team and start from square one.

to pry him from the B&G of 20 years, I would think they are all in. Right now, the Lions could be in a better financial position and he was their scout for 10 years. We were told Dick LeBeau was retiring too. . .

The LeBeau thing was to try to make it look like they weren't letting him go. I can't see them wanting Colbert to go

Kahn has not signed with anyone yet has he? it would seem that if Colbert left, Kahn would be in the mix for Steeler GM
