So here is the very important thing to point out.... the NFL did a thorough investigation over this... they did review the NFL films and broadcast audio and found nothing... they didn’t find any point where Rudolph even looked like he said something similar ... they also interviewed everyone around and nobody heard anything or heard Garrett say anything.

The NARRATIVE from Cleveland and the one that shitstarting ESPN was trying to advance was that the nfl said they couldn’t find any tapes of the incident, which with the amount of recordings being done was preposterous, but that isn’t what they said... they said they couldn’t find any evidence of him saying a racial slur... this was probably because it simply didn’t really happen

Cleveland was frustrated on the season and trying to keep Garrett from getting suspended... the first tweets about a racial slur were from a reporter speculating... the second alluding to it was Kitchens, but he didn’t sound like a man defending his player, it was more like a guy throwing out unspecific bullshit ... something to the effect of “He told me what he said to him and it was disgusting “ then sidestepped to something else... not the actions of an outraged coach...

They laid a foundation to make the claim at the appeal... it was premeditated. ESPN was complicit with the leaks and pushing the Garrett side because its a ratings grabber... **** them.
