I’m a diehard Steeler fan, but Cliff Branch not getting into the HOF is ridiculous. I grew up in the 70’s with a brother that was / is a diehard Raider fan so you can imagine the fights we got into. I hate the Raiders but I also give credit where it’s due.... 14 seasons 4 pro bowls 3 times All Pro 3 Super Bowl rings ....

So, you'd give up Shell's place in the HOF for Cliff Branch........... A don't see Branch as being more deserving than Shell. Branch was a VERY good player but Shell's number are way better. I don't see it the way you do as to Branch deserving to be in VS who has made it.

Pearson? Why? Guy had far less credentials than Swann and Lynn was always iffy to get in. Pearson was a one time SB champ and only had 1 catch in the game for 13 yards. Swann had more TD catches in three less seasons and just as many Pro Bowls. Oh, and Swann was a Super Bowl MVP.

In the grand scheme, Shell should've been in years ago. Branch was better than Pearson though and should get the nod. I don't get how Pearson gets in actually.
