Classic trap game

I called it a trap game hours before the game. Steelers thought they'd win the game just by showing up. No sense of urgency, no energy. I knew we'd have a difficult time covering Bucs tall wide outs. This game falls on the coaches, specifically Lebeau and Tomlin. I well, onto next week.
 
This game falls on Tomlins dumb ***. He has proven since he has been here that he cant coach this team against mediocre teams. Our team shows up flat everytime we play a ****** team and Im sorry but that is coaching. Not offensive, not defensive, that is the man in charge. I will be happy when his dumb *** is gone.
 
First time TB has ever won in Pittsburgh. I feel sick to my stomach. Probably the worst team in the league winning for the first time ever in Pittsburgh..
 
I agree. That defense is horrible. We actually missed Jarvis jones and shazier today....we missed Ike Taylor even more.

They had ample chances to put the game away, when u let teams hang around bad things will happen.
 
No disrespect, but that is bullshit. I called this loss the second the last second ticked away at Carolina. This team has never handled success well. If my *** can see it sitting at home, the coaches should have a better pulse on their team than I do. This was not a trap. It was the same old Steeler **** ups doing what they do best after a little success. I saw this coming last Sunday. I told everyone that would listen this week, that we were gonna lose in embarrassing fashion to Tampa.
 
No pressure at all and the Oline wasn't good either. Ben faced a ton of pressure today.
 
Jackson pushed off on the last td and the ref was right there watching it. It doesn't matter this game shouldn't even been that close.

No they aren't the worst team in the league...the worst team in the league is the team that will win their first game of the season next week as rookie Blake Bortles will get his first "WIN"
 
I disagree that it was a trap game. Good teams have trap games. We are just a bad football team that is poorly coached.

Yea, Jax is probably worse than TB... but not by much.
 
"Trap game" implies that we're a good team who may get tripped up by an inferior opponent.

The Bucs are not inferior to us.
 
Trap game under tomlin is any game between week 1 and week 17. How can a team that hasn't made the playoffs in 2 years and has repeatedly lost to inferior opponents take anybody lightly?

Who the **** are the steelers to take any game lightly?
 
Hate to say it but the Browns might be equal to the Steelers as a "team"...not individual players and talent on paper...but as a team playing to the max of their abilities and systems.

How can it be a trap game? This team is horrendous. Not too many teams worse than them, I don't know how anyone could say otherwise
 
I don't get how the OL and the DL dominate so easily one week and get their ***** kicked the next. That is coaching right there.

You put Ben on the Browns and they blow out this weak Steeler team. This is a 4 win team without Ben.
 
Harrison should just say **** this...ya'll are a bunch of chumps, lead by a fool of a coach.
 
I predicted a Steelers win 24-17...I figured the Bucs would come out with something to prove and it would not be a cakewalk. When it gets right down to it though, if we can't stop Mike Glennon and the Bucs with the game on the line who can we stop? I have no big worries offensively, but we are fundamentally flawed on defense. We can't pressure, we can't pass protect. Heck, doesn't seem like we can even make a tackle without incurring some sort of penalty. A good offense will absolutely shred us.

Totally agree. I'm not sure they win 4 games with out him especially if they can't count on beating the clowns with him.
 
Steelers play Jacksonville next week, no way was this a trap game. It was a poor team and they played down to their level, per usual. It is the standard.
