Chiefs take Robert Golden off the market.

Dammit...what are we going to do now!?!

Golden was one of our best special teams guys.

Mitchell I was happy about, I understood Willie. I didnt really get Why they dumped Golden. He was a good special teamer and was even a passable spot starter. They seem to be bringing in the same type guy from other teams to look at.

Golden was definitely not passable as a spot starter. He was bad on defense. At some point you need to move on from a special teams player to try to improve the depth you need on defense.

He started 12 games. He has 2 int. And 7 pass defensed. When he was in there I never noticed much difference over Mitchell. I certainly wouldnt say good. But not passable as a spot starter. C'mon. Berhe has started two games in his career.

Just because he has 12 career starts doesn't mean he was good at it. There was a pretty steep drop off when Mitchell was out.

You saw it that way. I didn't. I dont recall him in many sub packages. So essentially he had 9 stats breakups/Interceptions in his limited 12 starts. Not bad. Oh and a nice pass to close out the Bengals I believe.
