Can anyone explain this? This was part of an article from ESPN. Why is Pitt considered out? They played 3 ranked games to end and one is against GT which should put them in the ACC title game. Pitt is one of the hotter teams right now and ranked 24th. If they beat GT, ND, and Miami they would move up significantly and play in the ACC title game. Here is the section in question

I was just confused and thought I was missing something. I guess if Louisville wins out they will have a better record and the H2H win, but Pitt still has a legit chance to make the title game. If both Louisville and Pitt win out i still think Pitt had an outside shot at getting a bid as they would have beaten 4 ranked opponents
