You're right GMC. Injury concerns are a big reason NOT to guarantee contracts.

GREAT artickle Cope, thanks for your time in creating it. I like the explaination for how the cap / salary works and it makes it more understandable for those with questions. I'm no caprologist but do have a little bean counter in my head. Thanks for putting it into better perspective for all of us.

Should "said" GAURANTEED contracts become a reality you can bet they will be lower dollars and p[ossibly some injury language in them. Definately performance quotas and bonuses per production.
