Whelp, Jones was the biggest savings and the best move for the future. Great drafting Tombert!

Where does that put us cap wise?

Ol McDonald restructure minus porn stache salary?

And I got my numbers from OTC, where they have us at $3.5M under but didn't account for McDonald's restructure which gave us another $2M so we'd be at $5.5M before the Jones cut giving another Mil and change to $6.8 or so.

So the cap readjusted since we placed 7 guys on IR, if they reach settlement, the cap will drop again, but we lost about $3M in cap space from that, putting us at our normal $3.5M range. Thus the McDonald restructure.

Great write up Cope and thanks for your time on this. We typically run in that 3mil range but I see maybe the added room is insurance for durring the season if needed plus the carry over rule maybe a consideration. Is Kahn still the assistant cap manager or who is now under Cope within the STEELERS organization...(complimenting intent)

Yes, Khan is still the man in charge of the salary cap and contracts.
