For ***** sake I'm having a G'damn stroke watching this draft. It reminds me so much of our 2008 Draft and that was one of the worst in recent memory!

I'm ok with the first two picks and I really like James Washington but WTF is with the last two picks? We have needs on Defense.....in case our front office doesn't know. This offense is Super Bowl caliber but we gave up 45 ******* points to the Gdamn Jaguars in the divisional round of the playoffs!

We lost our best Defensive player last season in Ryan Shazier and if anyone who has watched the Steelers over the last five years hasn't noticed we have been getting gashed constantly on runs in between the tackles. In fact I'm willing to bet we have given up more runs of 20 yds or more the last two years than we did in 20 years with Steed & Hampton in the middle of our Defense. Yet no one seems to recognize this as a problem.

We need a TRUE NT! In the same vein as Casey Hampton & Joel Steed.

Ben has all the weapons, he's still in his prime, great O-line but we are wasting his best years by complimenting him with a swiss cheese Defense that can't tackle, stop the run, generate a pass rush on the QB. So much so that Blake ******* Bortles beat us twice last season and he's one of if not the worst starting QB's in the NFL and both losses were at Heinz Field!

This just pisses me off so damn much. If we had a competent Defense Ben would have already won us at least two more Super Bowls.

Steelers really need to draft Tim Settle - NT - Virginia Tech

We need someone to plug the middle of the Defense so we can make our opponents one dimensional on offense!

Blah blah blah....true NT. Lol

tim settle tomm, or norton, kid from utah looks like a project. We need a fat **** that right away will command a double team, a guy who already has the frame and strength of a few of the recent stable long-term NT tim settle 6"3 340, taller version of perhaps hampton, similar to marcus stroud, and perhaps ceiling of Vilfork his last 2-3 years

If we had a competent head coach we would have won atleast two more super bowls. We 've had the best offensive talent in the league, maybe in history with the killer b's.
It's like a rich guy buying the best parts for his sports car and getting smoked by lesser cars. The best parts can only get you so far if you don't know how to put the pieces together.

You tell me. This kid fights through double teams, Has a motor that won't stop and really pushes the pocket forcing early throws and being pretty disruptive at a college level. I know it's the ACC but he's got all the physical tools to be 3-4 NT. Sorry but I'm a big fan of having a true NT. Having a monster in the middle makes all the difference in the world!

Hopefully we get a RB tomorrow at some point.

In every single close up he looks like he's about to die breathing so hard. Can he even play two plays in a row?

There is talent but he needs to lose a LOT of weight and get in shape. No huddles in the NFL will kill him (maybe literally).

The second pick in round three ruined things. We could have had a DT/NT. Or an ILB

But they went with a tackle weak on the bench and not too agile with just okay film.

thus why i want him badly, i think with him at ng we will have the typ of run when 2-3 years before casey retired.

Ain't happening because we must play "sub-package" ****** football. No consistent pass rush and get bulldozed in the run, especially on 3rd and long. That's what we have more to look forward to. Year number 4 of this coming up.

I don't understand the sub packages. We use them but het destroyed. Why can't the coaches see this. A basic dime or even quarter package would be better than the exotic crap we throw out. 3 safeties, 4 cbs, 1 Lb, and 3 lineman should be one of the packages. Depending on the offense you could take away a corner / safety and add a Lb or Dl. No matter what there should not be less than 3 DL

If you ran the old steel curtain defense cover 2 cover 3 with a good middle linebacker dropping back it would be way more effective than butlers-Tomlins bullshit subpak subpar bullshit defenses we run right now

We could of had settle looks like we will have to settle for a subpar nt in rnd 6 one that may show flashes and at times be lazy aka McCullers

We don't own a 6th pick, so my guess is they won't settle for anyone.

Coach, the dude has long arms. Bench press doesn't mean **** in that context.

All Tackles have long arms Al, 33" or longer. 34 1/2 ( Okorafor's ) is just a shade above average for arm length at tackle.

I bet our guy had less on the bench that most drafted takes by a good margin. Also the bench is partly a muscle stamina exercise.

Here's our NT in the draft. We could have done better.

And here is your NT, Joshua Frazier 6-4 321 Alabama

If Munch didn't want him, he wouldn't be here. I'll take Munch's opinion.

Well he's better than nothing but I would have preferred Tim Settle from Virginia Tech but he went to the Redskins in the 5th Round.
