Now that Big Ben is retired I don't see any team leaders on the offensive side of the football who can change the mentality of this offense, take on a Leadsership role besides Kenny Pickett.

My question is do you think Kenny Pickett can endure and emerge from this disasterous season as the team leader on offense and take on the Leadership Role for this offense and the team?

I like what I see from Pickett so far. I like how the kid plays with an edge. It's going to be a fun ride to watch Pickett the rest of the way.......I hope he keeps his positive attitude throughout the season.......it hasn't shown up yet on the scoreboard but I think it's coming soon and he will make believers out of the team and the fans.

Pickett played at Pitt. He had multiple OCs, highs and lows. He’s mentally tough. He’s also not a Mahomes or Allen or can just win games with his rare physical gifts.
He isn't Allen but at the same time he might become a QB that can win games. Just way too early to postage stamp it for me. His accuracy will be a plus as he learns on the job that will even get better. Which it already shown to be solid. I think Carr is his floor which I think you can win with and often. Not sure what his ceiling is. I need to see more especially in the red zone. But I am liking what I see.. so far.

I think he’s more a cerebral QB with good accuracy. A guy like Drew Brees who could move but likes to throw the ball.

If he is a taller Drew Brees I would take that 7 days a week.

Exactly! I said this very same thing to a guy at the Steeler bar yesterday, Reminds me of a bigger version of Brees.
Very accurate, cerebral, processes quickly, good vision of the field, strong leadership.
Remember also that Allen was far from a finished product his first year or two. It took a few years for him to develop. And the Bills were not very good when he first came up. That’s why they got him with a high draft pick.

The Bills were coming off a 9-7 season when they drafted Allen. Romo did a nice job explaining how the Bills traded a number of veterans and moved up in the draft to get him.

When Allen was coming out, some people here were hoping he would fall to us because he was a less accurate but more mobile Big Ben type… but his first two years he had massive inaccuracy issues and was really inconsistent… before 2020 there was a large movement among bills fans and media to move on from him… and I was really hoping they would so we could get him for peanuts…

I always thought Pickett was at best going to be a Kerry Collins type… real good, but not an all time great type talent…which is why i was kind of hoping we would hold out for a higher upside guy….. we will see I guess… I am pleased thus far…

Also remember that coming out of college Pickett’s arm was graded a lot better than Brees arm was… its not a totally pea shooter like a certain water fowl themed qb we had lol… Brees worked on arm strength for a couple years to develop into what he ultimately became

KP will be fine but our coaches are playing checkers while rest of the teams are playing chess....and taking cheap shots at our best players with the approval of the nfl.

Yeah that just boggles the mind how the flag wasn't thrown there. Anyone could see he was into his slide, even if the defender started putting his head down before the slide he could tell by kenny's attitude he was going to slide. Bush league by both the Bills guy and the refs.

Meanwhile....this is roughing THAT passer. Now someone argue that there are not different rules interpretations for different teams and different players....go ahead convince me.

Yep...I was expecting to see Vince McMahon on the sidelines after that call.

Kenny has the desire, Pickens has desire, Warren has the desire we saw all this yesterday. The rest of the team needs to step up. Make plays, catch the ball, make the tackle, break up the pass. No one in the Steeler organization will admit we are in a rebuild but we are there

I just hope the coaching staff doesn't ruin this kid and waste his talent the way they wasted Ben's last years.
This will be Canada's last year and Shades is on the back 9.

I hope more like back 2, but anything is possible. There won't be anything left after 9 more.

Salute the nation

Pathetic call. ATL got screwed.
That shows exactly who the nfl coddles and protects

What I would like to see is guys just drilling the QB. If you're going to get called anyway, might as well make it worth it.
