TEMPE, Ariz. -- Mike McCoy was fired by the Arizona Cardinals on Friday morning, the second straight year he has been relieved of his duties as offensive coordinator in the middle of the season.

He will be replaced by quarterbacks coach Byron Leftwich.

Hell, Charlie Batch would be a better QB coach or offensive coach if you asked me! Good for Leftwich, he has seen the game from the sideline for the majority of his NFL career, good luck to the duck!!

I hope Leftwich does well, it's a great opportunity for him especially working with a young quarterback. However, I like guys who work under multiple coaches at different levels of football to learn different systems and diversify their scheme.
