It’s enough already. Failed big time last night as the defense went straight into the tank after the song was played. It doesn’t work, it’s nothing magical, it’s lame.

Somebody piss in you cheerios this morning or did you wake up on the wrong side of your large weeping vag.

For those of us old enough to remember when Renegade was new, imagine being a player and they start playing a song from the 1950’s that is supposed to get you pumped-up. That’s what it must be like for today’s players listening to Renegade.

The song has zero to do with getting the players pumped up, if they need a song to get them going on a big drive, then they are in the wrong business. It's about getting the crowd fired up and loud, I defy anyone to tell me the crowd doesn't get loud when that song is played.

It far from failed... it whipped the crowd into a frenzy like it’s supposed to....the defense let up a play.... that doesn’t mean it didn’t get the crowd loud and rowdy as it’s supposed to.... if the defense makes a play there... the crowd erupts and makes the next play insufferable for the O too...

Bills fans were all over Heinz last night. We had better home field advantages in LA and AZ. Even in a big game last night, good amount of empty seats.

The older fans don't go to night games as much. And for some reason sit on their tickets.

They showed shot of the crowd on TV, there were Bills fans here and there, but that wide views, all you saw was black and gold when they were zoomed out.

Apparently we (fans) shot our collective wad last week in AZ. II noticed the empty seats last night, but it was just after half time, so I figured some folks were still out getting beer.

Seems to work just fine with Ohio State playing 1965's hit Hang on Sloopy which riles up players and fans alike EVERY time it's played.
Some things don't go out of style and stand the test of time.
The Three Stooges are STILL as funny today as they were in 1920s when they premiered.
The Wizard of Oz, The Godfather, A Christmas Story, Animal House, The Breakfast Club, original 1978 Halloween, etc..... ALL classic movies that are as great and relevant today as they were when they were originally released.

seemed as strong as ever at the Baltimore game I attended this year. Stadium comes alive. Most teams in the NFL would love to have a tradition like this. You hear even the opposing players comment on the energy that it pumps into the crowd.
We finally have a DEF again so I think it remains relevant to the majority of Steelers Fans
We have larger things to worry about with 2 games left in the season than the choice of songs playing on the PA system

Those of us who can rarely get there to see a game expect it, and look forward to it. It's a crowd pleaser. It needs to stay.

This. I'm not crazy about the song, but it's become a staple ever since the 2002 Wild Card game against the Browns. It's for the fans who go to the games. It didn't work last night. Move on.

I love the way it gets the crowd pumped up. But other than the intro, the song really sucks.

song I play each day when I leave the castle is "I got 99 problems but a ***** aint one" ... hit me

The way things are going this year maybe switch to Journey's "Don't Stop Believin".

The song is fine, but they play it too much. It used to be played at key moments of the game and now they play it every week. It has become a part of the stadium experience and they don't want to let any first-time fans down.

This year, offenses have almost always got a big play right after Renegade is played and I think part of the reason is the players on the field are too hyped with all of the energy in the place.

Only 4,000 empty seats last night. That's 4-6,000 better than usual night games. All of the Bills fans helped out with that number, but they were mainly on the lower level visitor sideline so it seemed like there were more than there actually were.

Exactly! It’s for the fans, and that song is still cool even if you’re not from that generation.

They have a ton of these types of songs that they play as pump up songs. It gets a bit of a crowd pop, nothing like the roar Renegade gets. Not even close.
