OK, we play the clowns this week. Before any games were even played they were picked to not only win the AFC North but also most likely to make it to the super bowl as well. I said all along...... 1st team ever to play in 3 super bowls in one season. YES when they play our beloved STEELERS, that is their super bowl and they play us twice. Add in the thactual playing in the super bowl and there is your 3rd. HHHaaahaaaa the browns.

I think our defense is better than any of these three, especially when you look at the last three weeks.


Our toughest enemy is playing not to lose. Our coaching staff is finally seeing that and acting upon it. I realize they are conservative at times but I see our coaching staff out coaching theirs. We need to get out of the gates really fast and shut that ****-hole crowd up.

Injuries are big but we will over come as there was a nice mix up of run / pass and personal. Lets continue down this road and make sure we have plenty of POPcorn available.

I hope we just play a solid mistake-free game. Dropping passes and fumbling will catch up to us eventually. Oh. And I hope our Defense continues to wreak havoc on all opposing teams. :)
 
I wouldn't get too cocky, Steelers been playing a lot of finesse passing teams with weak Olines and statues at QB

Browns will come out and punch them straight up the gut.

Maybe better limit Bush and that lightweight nickle defense and use Vince more if they start gashing holes. They been moving the ball but get stuck in the red zone.

I think another nail biter, this is their SB.
 
I agree spike and BINCE needs to be in there a lot. He is definitely our run stopper.

Seriously I think this is a must win to propel us for ward towards playoffs, loss kills us and gives them momentum

Every time I see Freddie Kitchens on the sideline, I'm hoping he doesn't have a heart attack or stroke right then and there. Seriously. Despite that;

**** the Browns.
 
If we keep rushing Watt and Dupree and not dropping them into coverage, we can beat anyone. We are putting great pressure on with just 4 guys - Watt, Dupree, Heyward and either Alualu or Hargrave. Not sure why that is all of a sudden working but it is.
 
All I know is they have serious run threats with Chubb and hunt. We need to play a lot of base and force em to throw.
No 2 man line bull ****.

We aren't good at stopping the run. The 2 DL look gets ripped in the middle fairly easy. We will need to rotate DL and clog the running lanes better v the Clowns.

This defense has produced turnovers at a great rate. We need to turn those into points and make the Clowns pay for the mistakes they make.

I hear you but the Rams have 3 good running backs and we shut them down with mostly Watt, Bud, Heyward and one other in the lineup. Again, not sure why it all of a sudden worked but it did. Hopefully, whatever they did against the Rams continues against the Clowns and the rest of the teams we play.

Rams Oline is trash, lost two starters, but Gurley averaged 6ypc(and he's not 100%), but they only gave him the ball 12 times. The game before vs the Colts, Mack averaged 4.5 ypc.

We have actually moved into the 6th playoff seed after the win over the Rams. Our remaining schedule is favourable by most standards.
This is where we have a chance to put space between everyone chasing us for that 6th seed. Conference and division wins will be our saving grace to reach the playoffs.
I hope we come out strong and play some disciplined ball. As many have stated the drops and fumbles have to stop now.
The offense needs to put together some prolonged scoring drives so the defense can remain fresh and keep the pressure on throughout the game.

Having trouble seeing the Steelers scoring td’s this week. Browns are favored for a reason, hate to say it but our offense sucks, take the Browns.
 
Boy I don't take anything for granted with this team anymore. For once this season I'd like to see us start fast, get them down and just have the D pound them into submission. Clowns seem pretty fragile. Screwing up early against these types of teams just builds their confidence, keeps them in the game and improves their chances of winning. We need Watt to put Baker on his *** a few times early and Minkah to pull off another TO. Would be nice to see Bush show up as well. He has been pretty quiet the last couple games.
 
yeah the rams stupidly gave up running when gurley was having success. Chubb is very good and underrated. If we contain Chubb we will win. I expect a very close game unless Rudolph turns it up a few notches. We can not constantly rely on turnovers or defensive scores to win. That magic will wear out eventually
 
The Browns will win if they establish the run and use play action off of it. They have been successful in the past with that. Hope they keep forgetting to do that.
 
Although the Browns haven't had the season they wanted, the DO have the tools to be a significant problem for anyone playing them. They have a very solid running game and they have guys who have proven to be outstanding receivers. Mayfield is having a tough year, but underneath, he has some talent.

They should NOT take the Browns lightly. If they do, they lose. It's kinda PBurgh's SB right now too, given the current playoff seeding. Simple as that.

Bad matchup: Usually I am very optimistic, but I am finding it hard to be so about this game. Pittsburgh defense is playing lights out.

2nd in interceptions, 3rd in sacks, 2nd in forced fumbles. I watched the tail end of the rams-steelers game and the Steelers D was incredible. Goff was completely thrown off his game.

Their offense is nothing to brag about but they are scheming excellent and people are just doing the little tasks that are asked of them.

The coaching, culture, and discipline advantage is going to be so overwhelming in this game, I am afraid it will be another 49ers debacle.

The Steelers are a tough matchup.

This is a game where the Browns have to establish the run game. The Steelers are a bad team to play from behind. They love to put you into 3rd and long.

They thrive on putting pressure on the quarterback and forcing turnovers.

This looks like the type of game that the Browns have to be in play action mold.

Be confident in I formations. Create mis-direction plays with Hunt. Make them defend both runners.

Use play action and take some shots downfield against Haden and the others.

You have to play physical against them. The front on both sides have to be up to the challenge. This game will once again prove the LOS determines the game.

Hopefully we have a good plan. This will be a stiff challenge.

They play hungry. We haven't shown the insane desire to win. That is part of the "bad matchup" issue in this thread. We have been very casual, and some playmakers owe us more.

.. watching them is like dogs on meat. Watching us isn’t always (or ever) like that. They fly around and have intensity defensively ... we are more of a finesse offense and flash players.

Put it this way; have both teams switch uniforms and our players in their culture/system would DESTROY us
 
Espn really seems to think that the Browns are beating is... guess Mason isn’t as good a story as Mayfield...

Lol even if I wasn’t a Steelers fan i’d want the Browns to lose just for the inevitable meltdown that would be a Lolzfest
