I think the sentiment is more about Juju not stepping up this year. Granted, he missed quite a bit of time, but outside of a big play against San Fran, he hasn’t shown that he’s a legit #1. And I don’t care that he didn’t have Ben this year because neither did Washington or Johnson, and those two have made plays with the opportunities they’ve had. Juju has been a massive disappointment this year, and I don’t think that anyone can deny that. Hell, today alone he had as many drops as he did catches, and even did have a chance on that last play of the game. Far from the greatest throw, but it looks like he mis-timed the jump, and couldn’t corral it in. ****, there’s a lot of guys out there thag are “less than 100%” thag didn’t have the last month off. He’s been a disappointment, and more was expected from him. Fortunately for us, he’s still a young guy and has a chance to rebound, with the emergence of two more playmakers. He needs to ******* do it though.
