Must be targeting a RB in 1. Perhaps Guice.

I actually don't think that's that bad of an idea. Maybe Lynch does suck. Maybe the Denver system sucks. But him and the #6 overall? I think it's definitely worth a shot.

If he didn't pan out you got a 1st for Bell. Two rounds more than if he leaves next year in free agency. Not like if you didn't like what you saw in training camp, that he couldn't be a final cut...........

Okay, so I think I'd be on the phone today and invite CJ in for a visit. He had 2 years and 9 million on his contract. Let him do a tour of our facility. I think he has some talent and I would be willing to pay that. -If- he seems like a solid fit for us I think we could have resolution to this Bell thing by Friday.

Exactly! #6 overall to me is worth trading Bell for. If you can get a young QB with potential thrown in as well, I would definitely make that move. Landry flat out isn't the answer, and we all have serious doubts about Dobbs. IMHO, Lynch has as much or more potential to turn into a very good QB than any of the QBs in this draft.

And I agree with swal75, bring in Anderson. Draft Kerryon Johnson in the 3rd round, and you've got three good RBs (with Connor)

There's no way you get anything for Bell via trade. I think you basically tell Bell to report by friday and then we can work out a deal or we're signing Anderson and he can go get rich playing for the Stains.

no one wanted Favre when he was just starting out, either.
Lynch has talent. I just wonder if the system is not working for him.

If he signed his tag who knows. I really think it isn't matter of they couldn't get anything for him. It is more that they don't want to trade him..........

He ain't signing the tag until before week 1. Teams would be less likely to offer any reasonable compensation for him after July 16. Ergo maybe it's a slight logical leap but he won't be traded.

Epic fail for not following the formula. You should have said "he would look good in black and gold, wasn't used properly, would probaby sign for vet minimum." Get your **** together, son. :smile-new:

Could we sign him then trade him for the Browns for one their picks so we can take Barkley?!

If this did/could happen, i can guarantee one thing: Barkley would get hurt in pre-season and miss half the season.
