Appropriate template here, but I'd be stunned to see him come here to backup Ben. I expect him to land somewhere with an unstable starter.
 
I think he could push Bruce off the roster, Not sure they are done with Landry.........yet.
 
It's just not the "Steeler way" to sign a new QB out of the blue, unless they find themselves in a desperate situation (Vick last season).
 
Jets aren't really contenders and Denver is a wait and see....

Regardless Foles might help one of their seasons but even that is a big maybe.

Shaky O-line(can Clady stay healthy) and losing Harrison on D are two significant issues for that team, Revis is on the wrong side of his career and the other side is a huge question mark at corner.

If everything clicks I could see them maybe hitting the playoffs. But it would surprise me with anything more.
 
He wast used properly. He would look good in blackngold. Bring him in and kick the tires.

Do you think Fitz getting deal done on the same day as Foley became free agent is a coincidence? I have a feeling his agent may have said, "Let's take this deal" in fear of them signing Foley.

Then Fitz would be out of making $12 mill altogether.

Also, I DO think Jets could be a contender with a good QB. They have a good D, decent OL, good WRs, not sure who is running the ball now that Ivory is gone. But they were damn near a playoff team last year, as most of you will recall.

1. Denver just drafted their future QB. Why would Foles want to leave LA to step into the same exact situation in Denver, and to have to contend with Sanchez?
2. Jets have no realistic shot of ****.

SIGN HIM if there's cap space. Ben isn't playing 16 games. Foles can win games that Jones loses as our back up.

THIS would be an extremely smart move for the Steelers. Let's be honest, Gradkowski has shown us NOTHING in a Steelers uniform, and Landry? UGH!
 
I don't know why he wouldn't consider the Steelers a decent plan to get back into a starting role. Ben gets hurt all the time. All he has to do is stay ready and he'll probably get at least 1 start to show what he can do. If he does great then some team that really needs a QB will sign him. John Kitna played 1 good half of football for Cincy in a playoff game and look what that got him.
