Bos converted that same onside kick in college..

If dipshits on ST could block on punts, Lord knows they had enough practice today, we wouldn't have needed it either.

This loss is on Ben only. He played like hot garbage.

Any other coach would've pulled him.

The onside sucked. That's not why lost.

That is not the BS attempt you make when the universe knows you are going onside kick. Save that for a surprise onside. Too much could go wrong, like it did, this just needed the old kick the top of the ball and jump for the high 2nd hop.

Nevermind the potential touchdown pass that hit Coates right in the hands. Or on Mike Mitchell who couldn't tackle Mike Wallace. How about the offensive line, which couldn't open up any holes for Bell or the coaching staff for not making any adjustments on offense?

Or the over throw when Coates was wide open deep

CRAPPY attempt weather or not he has been successful on this or not. EVERYBODY knew it was coming so WHY wouldn't you at least give your guys a LEGITAMITE chance at a play. This at best has 100% fail. NEVER in his entire NFL career has Boswell been successful on this kind of "trickery" kick. Sorry for Boswell but even sorrier for whomever thought to do that.

Salute the nation

Overthrows happen from time to time. Receivers have to catch the ball when it hits them in the hands.

Agreed, but Ben wasn't off from time to time, he was off the whole game. He only made half-decent throws from time to time, unfortunately Coates dropped one of them.

Ben looked much more comfortable in the no-huddle offense (as usual). Why did it 3 and a half quarters of struggling and a 21 point deficit to switch to it is the real question?

They are the exact same. There is no it's OK for Ben.. Coates needs to catch that pass just as much as Ben needs to complete that pass

too many ifs to blame just one player

Sorry, but 100 percent of throws are not going to be accurate. In fact, that may be the most ridiculous argument that I've ever heard against a player.

Ben misses a BUNCH of wide open players in his reads. Seems like to me he is deciding who to throw it to pre-snap sometimes. That said, there is plenty of blame to go around starting with Coach Cool Shades.

Plenty of blame to go around, but you know Coach Cool Shades will not accept any of it. Those damn Players need to get it done.

I forgot, you live in the everything has to be fair world...

A QB might throw the ball 45 times in a game, while a receiver might get 3-4 thrown his way. Not that difficult to understand that as a percentage of their overall production one bad throw by a QB is not the same as one drop by a receiver.
