Texas kid played at I believe Eastern Washington. 6-2 210. Played in Calgary since 2012 but only 28. He is like 54 and 10 as a starter. He is in last year of contract. Soneone will get pretty much a free look at a possible starting QB.

Exactly. Its like a free draft pick if the player hits. Regardless of what someone thinks of the CFL these guys are pros. There is a pool of College players. Most of them finish after 4 or 5 years. Some play NFL and some play CFL. I dont know how a CFL team would do against a big time college team. All I know is if an NFL team would spend a high draft on a QB playing in North Dakota. Why wouldnt you look at a guy like this for next to free.
Im thinking more like Jeff Garcia but that's not bad for a 500k investment.

watched some of his highlights. pretty good accuracy. then again, some of the throws i saw, the receivers were WIDE open, he won't have that luxury nearly as often in the NFL.
Bring him in. The cfl is competitive enough.

Without question. Its the big field and unlimited pre snap motion. NFL open is a step and a half. CFL is 3 or 4.
