https://Invalid Link - Check SN Hom...report-dotson-suffers-knee-injury-on-tuesday/. Hopefully it is nothing serious. Big Dot has a knee and Dax rolled up his ankle. In ex Steelers news Artie Burns tore his ACL out for the year/season.

Dotson needs every second of TC. I hope he isn't held out to long.

Salute the nation

Dot is a guy i am really rooting for but that is a blow for the kid for sure. with expanded PS, he may well end up there but in a league short of OL, someone will poach him I would bet.

I don't think they would expose Dot to the PS. That would somewhat surprise me. But I agree exposed and I am sure someone would gobble him up.

Dotson to me was a reach where he was drafted. He was not invited to the combine, not did he pro day. I read his draft in Lindy's, they say he struggles to move side to side.

Another report on his downside:

Will turn 24 early in his rookie season, and teams may not see much room for technical or physical maturation in his game.
—Consistent level of competition is an obvious concern and will have to be answered early on in camp; third-stringers will be better than the majority of what he faced throughout his time at Louisiana.
—Stiff lower body; will struggle to redirect laterally versus speed-rushers.
—Wants to deliver blows and can get overextended in both phases fairly often; comes with some balance concerns and is on the ground far too often.

Well you read it so it must be true, as I said before cooch is the worst draftnik in the history of. Just horrible ***-essments.

I think these are fair, but he also plays guard, so lateral movement against speed rushers is a low priority when he has help on either side of him. He's also not a starter yet, he's a developmental player, but damn do I like his film and his upside!
