Cut him now... time to face reality! Just like the cheatroits, and the chargers, ravens, all the teams who quit packing dead weight contracts of over rated over the hill qbs. Ravens showed u can win was much with a mobile, cheap qb as with 100 million dollar money drain. One player can can’t win it all for you and Ben isn’t going to win it for us. you have to have a better qb than a NAIA walk like us, but not much better. We don’t need Ben to get to playoffs and at the rate we have cut players to keep him the math ain’t there anymore. Average qb, great running game, great defense can win super bowls. I know it’s not a popular idea but Steelers and the Rooney’s always behind the curve on this. At very least Ben should take a big *** pay cut he’s milked the Steelers long enough, time to give back to stay with franchise that drafted him. He’s been anything but a model citizen since we drafted him. Make a deal for one last run but if it were me I’d cut him and bring him back on senior discount.
