Can someone shed some light on this...I've been hearing a lot about how Bens play is one of the reasons we've been losing to sub .500 teams...especially on the road.

What question are you asking exactly?

is big ben a ****** road qb?

that's the jest of it really...

Well.. taking into account from 2013 plus the sample of this year. HIs home and road splits are...
Home- 66% completion 65 TDs 20 int 112 rating
Road - 63% 32 TD 23 Int 85 rating
Def' a difference

Obviously in a offense built around you and with a game plan built around you, practiced all week those road stats mean nothing

He's not the only one that hasn't played well in some if those games.

I didn't hear his radio show, but the guys on the fan said Ben discussed about the Steelers playing down to their competition. They said his response was 'maybe they play up to us' (just paraphrasing here). Interesting take and one that subscribes to the notion that the Steelers believe every bad opponent treats them as their "Super Bowl."

All 32 nfl teams are "professional" athletes. No game is a given. The Browns can come into town with their 0-7 record and can still win. These guys are world class athletes. It's just a matter of the desire to compete than the desire to collect a rewarding check

And the crazy part is a 75 years or older lady came into my job and said the same thing. She was talking about the Ravens and Jets because she's related to Bobby Engram and he played for the Ravens. But she said the exact same thing about the NFL. Crazy how she gets it but some don't

I get it completely. That's why it's so frustrating to see the way they play in those games because it feels like they are the only ones who don't get it. They are the ones who think the game will be a gimme
