I like Mathis but, IMO, he's just a slight upgrade from Buggs, whom we cut - so, NO, not taking him in the second...

Yeah on a team that saw a significant difference when an aging Alu went down, Davis would be a solid pick. My word for him even on passing downs would be get a push and good things happen. A guy like that takes a struggling run D and overnight says no more.

I watched a couple of Cougar games this year Coolie. Hall has position flex as a DT/DE, but he would need to gain some weight. His fanatical penetration skills are great on passes, but I wonder if he could have control patience on running downs. Definitely worth considering.
He definitely needs to add a few pounds
He will be at the Senior Bowl so we can see how he does against some tougher competition
I don't think he is a liability against the run but could use some coaching up
