When Ben has held the ball 2.5 seconds or longer this season he has just a 52.7% completion rate. He's been sacked 11 times and has 6 TDs and 5 INTs.

Interesting. Where does this rate among other QB's after 2.5 seconds?.

Also when t would Ben's completion percentage be without all these drops?

The Johnson and Ebron combination is to feast or famine to be relied upon. And neither man can block for crap.

This is where Ben used to make his money. It is an interesting stat. Watching the MNF game my mind couldn't help but wonder why we aren't deploying more routes downfield.

That and the Oline use to give him time, this line no good at all.

What percentage of plays has he held the ball for more than 2.5 seconds?

The sample size is probably relatively small, given the style of offense they've been running.

to me it's just a sign that the oline is giving up pressure after 2.5, big reason why we go to the quick passes so much.

I think this is a huge part of it. I repeatedly saw the 0 sack stat given up by the OL thrown out for weeks and by some respect writer's in the Steelers community to justify the play of the OL. It's a combination of veterans showing their age and young players that just aren't very talented compared to the guys they replaced.
